A happy new year

A happy New Year

Yesterday, my niece and her bridegroom began their new life together with a wedding ceremony that seemed to take them across the threshold into a new year two weeks sooner than the calendar. They and others of their generation see a world of opportunities in the future. They don’t seem fearful of leaving or losing the past.

I wish everyone could find inspiration, could look forward to transformation. I wish everyone could envision a happy new year.

Happy New Year, Jo. I thought of you, among others, as I was writing. I’m happy to see that you’re blogging again, and I hope 2011 brings good things for all of us.
