Get ready, ’cause here she comes

Writer Mama Christina KatzWriter Mama Christina Katz will reach the finish line of her blog book tour on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, right here at Treated & Released! Mark it on your calendar, so you can be here that day to win a copy of her book Writer Mama: How to Raise a Writing Career Alongside Your Kids.

At the beginning of this month, Christina kicked off a marathon blog book tour to celebrate the second anniversary of the publication of her first book. It’s actually a victory tour, considering the increasing popularity she’s enjoyed since its original launch date. Although she’s in demand as a speaker and writing instructor, Christina has been a guest blogger at a writing mother’s blog every day this month. Day by day, she’s told the story of how her first book idea became a reality, starting with the decision to attend the Willamette Writers Conference and present her book proposal to Jane Friedman, the editorial director of Writer’s Digest Books, HOW Books, Betterway Books, and TOW Books. You can read the final post of Christina’s anniversary blog book tour here on Tuesday.

If you’re thinking about what it will take to get your work published, then you’ll appreciate Christina’s wisdom and encouragement. Read all of her previous guest posts to learn from her experiences. Don’t forget to stop back here to answer Christina’s question on Tuesday, and you’ll be entered in the daily drawing to win a copy of Writer Mama: How to Raise a Writing Career Alongside Your Kids. Book giveaways always make me happy.

Springtime is the perfect time to give your writing career a push. You don’t need to wait until your fledgling is out of the nest to pursue your career as a writer. Bring your motivation and join us for some inspiration.
