This is a great list. While I'm not a huge fan of reading longer works on screen, I like having e-books available as handy references. And having electronic samples of books to distribute I think is a great, easy marketing tool.

And thanks for the post of my poem!

Last week, Scott Sigler was one of the panelists who spoke at BookExpo America on the subject of "Scaling the New Economies: In Search of Book Publishing's 2.0 Business Model." Sigler explained to the audience that he serialized his first novel as podcasts in order to demonstrated to a publisher that he could attract sufficient readers to make publishing his books in print format worthwhile.

Hey Robin,
Thanks for including what Scott and I are doing in this discussion. You can also get my novel as a free pdf on manybooks.net and at sethharwood.com/jackwakesup.pdf
Also, all three of my crime novels are available on my site (sethharwood.com) and at itunes as free podcasts (serialized audio in mp3s).
Take care,
Seth
